Become an apprentice

IEC Indy offers the number-one-rated program in electrical education in the area. Through our Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program, students earn their Journeyman/Journeywoman certification.

During their time with IEC, students have an opportunity to work with an electrical contractor while training. Our graduates typically earn a higher annual salary upon completion of the program.

Why IEC?

IEC Indy is the Central Indiana Chapter of IEC. Founded in 1957, the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) is a national trade association for merit shop electrical and systems contractors. IEC believes in developing and fostering a stronger economy through the level of quality and services its members provide to the industry.
