Moreland about Moreland\u2019s book <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Scientism-Secularism-Learning-Dangerous-Ideology-ebook\/dp\/B07CG7B6B1\" class=\"ek-link\">Scientism and Secularism: Learning to Respond to a Dangerous Ideology<\/a><\/em>. As Moreland explains, scientism is the belief that only the hard sciences can provide any reliably true knowledge. It&#8217;s a claim that also gets applied to other disciplines outside science as well, suggesting that claims of reality in any field of human knowledge cannot be known one way or another. \u201cIt\u2019s in the drinking water,\u201d Moreland says, but it\u2019s also self-refuting, and therefore irrational \u2014 and very damaging besides.
