Wow, okay, here this goes. I'm still a little confused with the whole userpics/icon journal thing, so I'm gonna go with grade my icon journal over at i_gration. I don't post there a whole lot anymore because I like to post things in sets now, and most of them are halfway done. [/ramble]

Note: I just recently learned that cutouts do not work for PNGs in IE.... so I apologize. I don't really have time to resave those in gif right now.. but if there is any doubt as to what they're supposed to look like, I will certainly do so at request.

I followed _alostdream here..so thought I'd maybe give it a go. I've never done this before, so I'll probably have done something wrong. I'm applying from my personal journal, but my icon journal is azayka_ni. Anyway..

I found this community about a month ago... wanted to submit my application... totally forgot... and somehow I ended up back here.

That's basically my life's story X_x

I'm submitting here 'cause sometimes it seems that my icon making ways seem to change. One day my icons look pretty good, the next it looks like crap and a day later they're pretty I-can-live-with-that. Basically, I need suggestions and stuff.

Comments: I might as well tell you all now... Animated icons are the first things I've ever learned to make in Photoshop. Seriously, I get photoshop one day and a week later all I knew how to do were animations. Didn't even get started on brushes until the week after... So these are some of the first icons I've ever made. I've stopped doing animations and mini-movies because they are time-consuming. *Suddenly realized that all her animations are mini-movies*

Comments: These are all mini-movies too... probably because I started doing cutouts the same time I started animation. I stopped doing cutouts because I can't do any interesting ones. (These icons belong in my batch of 'first icons ever made')

hehe . . hi. *waves*. Sorry, i'm a little nervous. To be honest, i'm here because i think my work lacks something. But i'm not sure. I've been making icons for nearly a year now, and people tell me my icons are amazing, but . . idk. I think its my program. I love psp9, but, i think i should get Photoshop soon . . . so many more capabilities ..

anyways. I also came because i wanted to see what i needed BEFORE i 'officially' opened up my brand new icon community, __seraphine . I've been working really hard on it. I've been putting up tutorials, working on the info . . you name it. Unfortunately, due to this i have only one page of about 200 icons in it. So you can look there . .but let me warn you: the first impression of the page will be weird. Its literally a time line. And i still have more icons to add, which i'll be doing tonight . . doing too much at once . ..

Edit: Guys . . i have only one rating . . just thought i'd let you know since from here it looks like i have 3, and i didn't know if that had anything to do wiht it. *hugs rater*

oh. one more thing. YES I HAVE TOO MANY TEEN TITANS!! lmao. thats what i started with .. so i have BILLIONS . . . believe me theres more icons of other fandoms on my computer .. . uploading tonight :-)

I applied here once a long time ago when I first started making icons and completely forgot about this community until a friend mentioned seeing me on the rejected list yesterday. ^^; I came back to look at how sad my icons were but either the app wasn't linked correctly or it's gone. o_O; I decided to give it another go since I've been annoyed with my icons lately and would love some honest feedback. After some thought I decided to give this baby a try, so I'd like to have my icon journal rated. I use a lot of brushes and textures made by others and I also use some of my own; my resource post can be found here. Anywho, I'm interested in any feedback you might have since I'm hoping to improve. Have fun, umm, grading! ^^;;

Animated [I don't generally make animated icons and it definitely shows. As for the mini-movie icon, I had to dig it out of my old Photobucket album since I haven't made one in like, a year or whenever the "mini-movie icon fad" was going around.]

Cut-out [I basically had to make these examples for this application because I can't remember the last time I made one of these. I prefer using white as opposed to transparency and these were a bit of a challenge. I know they're not great, so ~~tear them to bits~~ feedback is appreciated. >>;;]
