Want your icon to look like this?

Well you're in luck, because it's SUPER easy!
I used PS Elements for this, but you could probably do the same thing on any program.

This was my starting 100x100 image.
I added a border by going to edit>>stroke with the width "1 px" and the color "black." {#000000, duh.)

I played around with the Variations (Enhance>>variations) a little, I darkened it and added more yellow.

Select the space you don't want to be white. Go to edit>>stroke with the same choices as above.

Now before deselecting your square, hit select>>inverse. Make a new layer. Fill the selected part with white.

I made the opacity of the layer 30. Then add some cool title at the top.

Then I used baby text brushes by
ohpaintbrush to finish the image off.

You can go back to your image layer and play around with the settings and such so it doesn't look so plain. :D
