Animation Help
I am in need of some help with making animated icons.
I'm just learning how to and it seems pretty straight forward, but I ran into trouble within the first couple steps. I converted my video to .avi format and when I try to import it in photoshop (file > import > video frames to layers) and it comes up, but it comes up just white and there is no video so I can't go any further with selecting the frames.
What am I doing wrong? I'll put a picture of what it looks like under a cut.

That is how it looks when I import the video, why is it doing this? The tutorial I'm following says must be .avi or .mov format and mine is .avi but it isn't working.
Any help would be greatly appreciate, I've wanted to learn for so long how to make an animated icon.
