RPattz Coloring Tutorial

Made using Adobe Photoshop CS3
Involves Selective Color layers
A total of nine steps

This.  To.
01. Crop your base to 100 x 100.
02. Duplicate you base and set to Soft Light at 100%
03. Duplicate you base again and grag it to the top. Set to Screen at 35%
04. Create a new layer and fill with #334379. Keep as Normal at 6%
05. Create a new layer and fill with #796d33. Set to Multiply at 30%
06. Create a Selective Color layer and set to Soft Light at 30% -

REDS: -100 +42 +100 +4
YELLOWS: -100 +47 +100 +0
CYANS: +100 +32 -100 +21
WHITES: +100 +100 +100 -64
NEUTRALS: +10 +3 +2 -4

07. Create a Color Balance layer andset to Pin Light at 100% -

Midtones: -22 -13 -17
Shadows: -16 +7 +11
Highlights: -9 -13 -1

08. Create a Levels layer -

RGB: +4 +1.19 +236

09. Add
THIS layer and set to Screen at 10%
