Help with animated text...of sorts
I want to learn how to add this type of animated text (see below) to my icons but I don't know how. I checked the memories but my PS terminology isn't so great. I don't always know the exact terms used for some of these things, forgive me.

I'm relatively new to Photoshop (been using it since Feb/March of this year) and have not done any animation before. I think I have a decent understanding of layers and colouring and most of the basic tools.
Could you help me? Or perhaps point out some basic, easy-to-follow tutes that I can use to understand how its done? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. :)
Other need-to-know stuff:
-I use Photoshop CS.
-I have ImageReady on my PC...I just haven't used it.
