A Few Questions

For all of these questions, I use PSP8 and Animation Shop3

1. How do I make brushes? I understand how to make the image pack, but not to create a .jbr pack. Cause I would like to start making brushes.

2. How do I make gradients and save them as a gradients pack? Because I want to start making those too.

3. How do I teach my friend to import brushes from image packs into her psp7? (I know how to do it on my psp8, but she said it's not the same in hers)

4. How do I make this: ? I thought it was adding noise, but I couldn't get it. It only has 3 frames... Do I just use a star brush and put it different places for each frame? It just looks so rich... I can't get it to look like that. (b.t.w. someone on xanga made it, and I stumbled across it)
