First things first: don´t copy this tutorial take the idea. What I wanted to do is to enhance the colors and give it a warmth hue.
How I achieve it: with some coloring layers.
Look at your base and think what it needs, it´s depends of course on your idea and the image.
For this twilight cap I want to reduce the blues and enhance the reds,
to the tut!
1#. Take your base and prepare it: when you use coloring layers in order to avoid darkness is better to duplicate your base and set to
screen whatever times you need. I do it once leave it at 50% opacity but it depends on your image.
>>
2#.Add this gradient by
oxoniensis and set it to multiply 100%
>>
3#. Duplicate your base once, drag it to the top and set it to soft light 21% opacity. This is to increase contrast
>>
4#. Coloring time. Add a solid color layer #e6e4ff and set it to color burn at 100% opacity
>>
>>
5#. Duplicate your base again, drag it to the top and set it to soft light 25% opacity. This soft light steps depends on
your image!
>>
6#. Last step: add a brightness/ contrast layer. Setting for this image:
Brightness: +10
Contrast: +9
>>
And you are done! Lovely isn´t it?
Remember to adjust the settings to your image.
