while i am glad i found this community, and check in often, i dont think it is suited for me. i am new to the photo shop thing and am having a realy tough time figuring it out. so my request to all of you is...

does anyone know of a tutorial for basic photo shop tools. the tutorials here are great but i find alot have an end goal, like an effect they make. i need the basics. just the basics, like somthing i cant start with and get the hang of before i start doing projects and creating effects. like i said im new to this and i just got photoshop 6.

any help would be greatly welcomed.
