Tutorial #8; Kuchiki Rukia (Bonus IchiRuki too)

This time, I'll tell you how to make images slightly angsty :D

We'll be going from

Program: Photoshop CS2
Includes: Selective coloring, channel mixer, etc.
Translatable: Depends on your image, though. :/
Difficulty: Easy, for me.

1. Set off your base & crop it
2. Duplicate the layer and set it to Screen at 43%
3. Sharpen it (You don't have to, but I did sharpened it)
4. Selective coloring time~
Reds: -100
Neutrals: -12, 0, +11, 0
Blacks: +100
5. Hue/Saturation time, set to master
Saturation: +18
Lightness: +5
6. Channel Mixer time, REDS only
Red: 116%
Green: +52%
Blue: -80%
7. Slap up this texture and set it to Multiply at 80%
8. Now slap up this texture and set it to Multiply at 63%
9. Last step, new color fill layer with #330000 and set it to Exculsion at 45%~



You're done! Feel free to add decoration texture and stuff after the last step. This tutorial is very customizable =D Like this one (with this texture):
