Another icon tutorial!

This is a basic tutorial for beginners. Today we will be making the following
icon on Photoshop 7+.









We start out with this lovely
picture of Ayumi
Hamasaki. </p>

We crop and shrink it to 100x100, and here we have a base. Since this picture
is so high quality and sharp already, there is no need for contrast or
brightness or anything else adjustments!









Next, we use a lovely gradient by crumblingwalls, set on screen mode 100%.



 




That makes the picture nice and light, don't you think?



Next we have a lovely paper brush with the color #7FC3BC on vivid light, 100%.








Then I drew a two pixel border around the border in the same color, like so, and
set it on Multiply, 100%.









I wrote the word LOVE in the color #CDE0E1, font Garamond bolded, at 37pt and
with 20 character spacing. This is set on overlay.










Now, add the bottom text, "IS NOT ENOUGH" in #5AA8AC, Garamond 10pt with 20
character spacing. This is on multiply. And now we have the final product.
