Full Icon Tutorial for PS7 - Make-up Effects - Tutorial 1 of 2
I haven't written a tutorial for awhile! So I'm writing kind of a double header on make-up effects. Now, there have been quite a few tutorials on this already, so I want to introduce some new things that I happen to stumble upon the other day while making icons. This tutorial is for PS7. Here's what will be doing:

This one is like ones that I have seen done before. There may be a few things that are different, so I want to share it with you anyway. Then there's this, which introduces some slightly different techniques:

The second one we'll get to in another tutorial later today. Both feature the very pretty Alyson Michalka. ^^ Remember: this is meant to inspire, so don't copy these icons exactly. Experimentation got me this far, didn't it? ^^ Hehe. Also, I use adjustment layers, so if you don't know how to do that, you might want to find a tutorial that explains it. It's pretty simple, so you might still be able to follow along. THIS IS JUST FOR THE FIRST ICON.
