Now, don't get me wrong, I LOVE The Dark Knight to death, particularly The Joker. The only problem with the movie is that most caps are either too blue or too yellow. So I devised a way to fix it.
1. New Selective Color Layer:
RED: 100, 0, -100, 0
YELLOW: 100, 0, -100, 0
CYAN: -100, 0, 100, 0
BLUE: -100, 0, 100, 0
2. Make a new layer. Fill it with a bright orange color and set it to Soft Light 30%.
3. New Curves Layer:
Input: 111
Output: 141
4. Up the Saturation of the whole icon to +30.
5. Create a new layer, fill it with a dark blue, and set it to Exclusion 100%.
6. Create a new layer, fill it with a dark brown, and set it to Exclusion 100%.
7. Duplicate your base, desaturate it, bring it to the top, and set it to Soft Light 100%.
8. The last step is to make a new layer, fill it with a light tan, and set it to Multiply 100%.
9. (Optional) I typed up "Let's put a smile on that face", rotated it, and stuck it where I wanted it. I also put some tiny text below that. (also rotated).
I really hope this is useful to somebody! And I'd love to see what you can come up with!
