Full Icon Tutorial for PS7: Eliza Dushku
andyouwrote (rebecca) requested an icon with this pic and so she could do it I made a tutorial. I used PS7. Thought I'd share. Beneath the cut is the full icon tutorial for this Eliza Dushku icon, 1. I started with this stock from gettyone
2. And the Eliza Dushku image from Sparkling Diamonds
3. I cropped the Eliza image,
4. I sharpened the cropped icon I had now so it wouldn't be so blurry.
5. I pasted the stock image on top of eliza on pinlight, moving it around till I got a nice area with a blue stream across her face.
6. I opened
amorousfear's Stock 23 pasting it on top of the cloud layer on pin light so I got the ruler and the blood stains in the same frame. 
6. In between the two stock layers I used a deep reddish pink --> orange gradient and put it to pinlight. I'm not stealing away from your creativity. Please make the gradient yourself. :) I tried to make a basic guide for that here.
7. I went to the special effect photoshop brush, the rose that's 48 px. In black I painted two dots of it onto the part with the ruler, leaving half the face gradiented and half not.
8. Congratulations. Please don't release the icon you make using this. May it inspire you though. :)
