-crop the image how you want
-Duplicate the image and set to screen 6%
-Sharpen image
-Create a new layer with 10b0ec set to overlay 58%
-Create a new layer with ecb66d set to overlay
-Create a new layer with ffd1ef set to burn
-Create a new layer with this texture
set to burn, scale how you want and you might have to do this a couple of times depending on what kind of sharpness you want to your image.
-Create a new layer with this texture
set to multiply 74%, scale how you want.
-Create a new layer with this texture
set to Screen
-Create a new layer with this texture
set to Screen 46% and place the red over the text
I use these steps a lot when making icons, especially the first six steps. Depending on the image you are using you might have to tweak a bit. Play with the opacity and of course make it your own.
