step 001

Take your base and prep it how you normally do. My base didn't need anything done because the tutorial was going to make it pretty enough! Lmao

step 002

Duplicate your base and desaturate it. For Photoshop users it should be CTRL+SHIFT+U and for PSP users, simply go to Adjustments and Hue/Sat and drag the slider all the way to the left.
Now set the desaturated layer to Soft Light 100%

step 003

Go ahead and repeat Step 002. Duplicate your base, drag it to the top, desaturate it and set it to Soft Light 100%

step 004

Take this texture HERE by spooky_window  and set it to Multiply at 75%

step 005

Take the exact same texture from Step 004 and place it on top of everything and set it to Lighten at 75%

Now duplicate your base. Drag it to the top, desaturate it and set it to Soft Light 100%

Duplicate your base again and set it on top. DO NOT DESATURATE THIS LAYER and set it to Soft Light 100%

Yes I know theres alot of this "duplicate layers" business but hey! If it works it works <3

step 008

Go to Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Hue/Sat and on the setting MASTER set the saturation to +50

Go to Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Selective Coloring and enter these settings:

Red: -100, 50, 100, 0
Neutrals: 100, 50, -100, 0

step 010

Now take this texture HERE by ah_anime18  and set it to Soft Light 100%
