Heey, today we'll do a coloring tutorial with curves, sc layers, and more!
How make this to this using Photoshop CS2, but i dont know if you can do in others programs.
- First, duplicate your base and put your basic effects, like screen, soft light etc. This is my base:
- Make a new Curves layer (Layer - New Adjusment layer - Curves)
RGB:

- Create a Hue/Saturation Layer and put sat. +25
- SC layer time!
Red: -70; -28; 49; -25
Yellow: 100; 0; -100; 25
Green: -87; 0; 62; -46
Cyan: 100; 0; 0; 0
Neutrals: 16; -10; -15; 9
- Another selective color layer
Reds: -100; 0; 79; 0
- Create a Color Balance layer
Midtones: -5/-28/-26
Shadows: -6/25/-27
Highlights: 0/0/23
- Layer - New fill layer - solid color.put on exclusion 43% with a dark blue, i picked #062838
- Press Alt+ctrl+shift+E and this layer its a 'preview', so put this layer on soft light 55%
- This step is optional, if you like dark icons/images, create a Brightness/Contrast layer and put -10/-5. If you like light icons, forgett this step. ;)
- Merge all, ctrl+shift+E. If you want, shapen this and you are done! i hope you like! Any questions, just ask :D
