Coco Icon Tutorial
Made in Photoshop CS3. No Selective Coloring. Translatable.
00. Prepare your base (Sharpen, crop, screen, etc.)
01. Create a Curves Layer (Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Curves)
RGB: First Point---Input: 41, Output: 88
Second Point---Input: 160, Output: 232
OPTIONAL: Set this Layer to 51%. I did this step for this icon. It may cause the result to be a little light.
02. Make a Fill Layer with #f6bcce. Set it to Soft Light 52%.
03. Make a Channel Mixer Layer (Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Channel Mixer)
RED: +128, -40, 0
BLUE: -55, +60, 100
04. Duplicate your base and drag it up top. Set it to Luminosity at 24%.
AND YOU'RE DONE!
