So we start off with the beginning image of the adorably, cute Tsubasa ♥.
STEP 1
Rotating and cropping and all that jazz, we get our base :D
STEP 2
Duplicate the base, screen it.
STEP 3
Duplicate the base (again), and screen it (again)~
Yes, I know it looks kinda weird at this point, but look at the end result. It turns out fine, just wait for it :B
STEP 4
Duplicate the layer, except instead of "screen", use SOFT LIGHT -- I lowered the opacity to about fifty (50%) percent though.
STEP 5
Now for the colour! Go to NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER > COLOR BALANCE.
midtones: -46, -23, 15
shadows: -41, -12, 17
highlights: -5, -6, 18
STEP 6
NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER > SELECTIVE COLOR
reds: -27, 6, 9, 0
yellow: -29, 10, -30, 0
white: 36, -34, -48, 0
neutral: 34, -11, -26, 0
STEP 7
NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER > SELECTIVE COLOR
reds: 52, -9, 11, 0
yellow: 39, 13, -37, 0
cyan: 39, -32, -28, 0
blue: 38, -42, -36, 0
magenta: -41, 39, -17, 0
white: 54, -25, -26, 0
neutral: 26, -19, -36, 0
STEP 8
Merge all layers, duplicate the merged layer, and set it to soft light at about seventy five percent (75%) opacity.
STEP 9 (optional)
And last but not least, merge that layer once more, and sharpen it ! (opacity lowered to about 60%)
