1. crop and sharpen your base as needed.

2. new adjustment layer >> curves >> 1) I: 214 O: 238 // 2) I: 60 O: 64

3. make a new layer, fill with navy #0C2871 and set to screen 30%

4. make a new layer, fill with hot pink #FC37B9 and set to screen 16%

5. make a new layer, fill with light blue #00B4FF and set to screen 32%

6. make a new layer, fill with light grey #C0C0C0 and set to colour burn 82%

7. make a new layer, fill with same colour as above and set to multiply 42%

8. flatten image, duplicate your base and set to screen 32%

9. make a new layer, fill with black #000000 and set to soft light 40%

10. new adjustment layer >> colour balance: shadows - 0, 0, +22 // midtones - +55, -4, -24 // highlights- +14, +9, -3

i came up with this colouring from messing around with photoshop really late at night.
the main "technique" of sorts is using screened layers (if you didn't notice XD).

just kind of brightened the image and gave it a little warm colouring to it with a touch of cyan (: i'm addicted to grey multiply layers now, i love their effect.

i've also tried to make tutorials without selective colouring so it could cater to people without photoshop!
