Tutorial for PSP
NOTE: Some basic knowledge of PSP is needed.
STEP 1: Take your image, crop and resize it to 100x100.

STEP 2: Go to ADJUST >> AUTOMATIC COLOR BALANCE and make sure your settings are as follows:
Strength: 80 (make sure that the "Remove Color Cast" box is checked)
Temperature: 5220
This gives your image a little more of a reddish hue to it.

STEP 3: Duplicate your BASE and set it to SCREEN, OPACITY 50%.

STEP 4: Create a new RASTER LAYER, fill it with #dfad97 and set it to SOFT LIGHT, OPACITY 100%. Now it looks more orange than anything. Don't worry we'll fix that.

STEP 5: Go to LAYERS >> NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER >> CHANNEL MIXER and make sure your settings are as follows:
OUTPUT CHANNEL: Red
Red [%] 170
Green [%] -100
Blue [%] -4
OUTPUT CHANNEL: Green
Red [%] 0
Green [%] 104
Blue [%] 0
OUTPUT CHANNEL: Blue
Red [%] -15
Green [%] 24
Blue [%] 109
Make sure that your opacity level is at 50% so that the coloring isn't so bright.

STEP 6: Go back to LAYERS >> NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER >> COLOR BALANCE and your settings should be:
TONE BALANCE (make sure "Preserve Luminance" is checked)
Color Levels: -25, 6, 20

STEP 7: Once again, go to LAYERS >> NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER >> HUE/SATURATION/LIGHTNESS and make sure your settings are as follows:
EDIT Yellows: - 60 (make sure the "Colorize" box IS NOT checked, if it is then your image will come out black and white)
If you notice, setting the yellows at -60 takes away a lot of the yellow hues in the image (depending on how high or low you set it, you can use this on very orange/yellow images, the same goes for very red images, set the reds to -60 and it will take away the majority of the reds)

STEP 8: Last time I promise, go to LAYERS >> NEW ADJUSTMENT LAYER >> BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST and set like this:
Brightness: 0
Contrast: 15

STEP 9: MERGE ALL LAYERS, create a NEW RASTER LAYER and add your own text! I used Tahoma in size 5 for my icon.
