How to go from this

I use PS Elements 4.0 (primative, I know), so it should be translatable.
Ok, first is to choose a picture. I chose this one because i liked it.
Second thing I did was to crop the picture. Not dramatically, but the shore was difficult to work with.
Third, I created a new fill layer and filled it with #80d2f0 and set to color burn, 100%. I erased everything but the water so that it's blue.
Four, another fill layer. #f6cfcf, multiply, 100%. Erased everything but the girl's dress. It just gives subtle color.
Cinco, resize to 100x100.
Six, text layer with "innocence," same color as the dress, #f6cfcf.
And, voila, a simple, yet pretty, icon!
