Tutorial #2

to
Using Photoshop 7.0.
Includes Selective Colouring.

Once again I would like to remind you percentages and steps and whatnot are up to you. Experiment if you wish, as long as the image looks good.

1.] Spiffy up your image. Crop, sharpen, whatever.

2.] Brightness/Contrast: Contrast: +16

3.] New fill layer: 7951A3. Set to soft light 50-100%. [I set it at 86%]

4.] New adjustment layer: Selective Colour.

Reds:
cyan: -100
magenta: -10
yellow: +11
black: +6

Whites:
cyan: +100
magenta: -44
yellow: +18
black: -26

Neutrals:
cyan: +19
magenta: -9
yellow: -9
black: +4

Blacks:

cyan: +34
magenta: 0
yellow: +100
black: +100

5.] Duplicate the base, drag to top & set to screen. This step is optional and percent is your choice. I went with 37%.

6.] Hue/Saturation. Saturation: +21

7.] Add any text or brushes or whatever you like. There you go!
