Listens: something to be by rob thomas

1st tutorial ever

Hello everyone, this is my first ever tutorial, so I hope it helps you.
Made in PS, and uses selective coloring, so I don't think it's translatable.

Today we're going from this: Photobucket
to this: Photobucket

1) Duplicate your background, and set it to Exclusion at 52% opacity.
Photobucket

2) Duplicate your base again, and set this layer to Color at 48% opacity. Make sure this layer is above the Exclusion layer.
Photobucket

3) Duplicate your base one last time, and set it to Soft Light at 100% opacity. Make sure this layer is above both the Exclusion and Color layers.
Photobucket

4) Next add a Brightness and Contrast layer. I set the brightness at +9 and the contrast at +21 but you might have to play around to get it to work with your picture. Make sure this is at the top and set to 100% opacity.
Photobucket

5) Finally, add a Selective Color layer. Here are the settings I used, but as with the Brightness and Contrast Layer, you may have to play around with it a bit depending on your picture.
Yellows=+37, -41, +28, -31
Greens=+40, -52, +51, +72
Whites=+16, -18, +29, +18
Blacks=+26, -12, +31, +8

And you have your finished product! Hope this helped you, and if it did, feel free to comment.
