Tutorial #1

Firstly, I would like to say that all percentages are up to you and depend on your image. This also goes for skipping some steps or adding or whatever. It's all got to do with your image.


1.] Crop/sharpen/whatever your image to your liking. All I did was crop to 100px-100px and sharpen to make Mr. Hedlund look clearer.

2.] Duplicate the base and set it to screen. Opacity is up to you and your image. I set it to 29%.

3.] New adjustement layer> Brightness & Contrast> Brightness: 0, Contrast: +28

4.] New adjustment layer> Selective Color>
Reds:
Cyan: +12
Magenta: +5
Yellow: +0
Black: +25

Yellows:
Cyan: +0
Magenta: -26
Yellow: -39
Black: +100

Whites:
Cyan: +0
Magenta: +100
Yellow: +29
Black: -60

Blacks:
Cyan: +0
Magenta: +0
Yellow: +0
Black: +10

5.] Add text or brushes or whatever you like!
