step 1:
choose a picture. crop it and fix up however.

step 2:
duplicate your base and set to screen - 100%

step 3:
selective colour layer -
reds: -100, +50, +50, 0
yellows: -50, 0, -50, 0
neutrals: +10, +10, -10, +10

step 4:
channel mixer layer -
red: +150, -60, 0
blue: -69, +73, +105

step 5:
new fill layer; #54664B and set to soft light - 100%

step 6:
new fill layer; #360C0C and set to exclusion - 50%
