PS7 Tutorial: Cupcake Text
How to make your text look like cupcakes!

1. Type out your text using a cute round font that looks like cupcakes. I used Coppepan. Use the color you want for the cake part of the cupcake!

2. Duplicate the text layer and change the color to whatever color you want the frosting to be.

3. Add a layer mask to the frosting layer and using a hard round default brush, mask out the bottom parts of the text like this:

4. Now we add sprinkles! Set the foreground and background colors to two very different colors. I used pink (#FC3E6E) and turquoise (#069E9C). Then, in the brushes palette, chose a small round default brush use these settings:
BRUSH TIP SHAPE
diameter 2px
hardness 100%
spacing 820%
SCATTERING
scatter 1000%
count 2
count jitter 100%
COLOR DYNAMICS
foreground/background jitter 100%
hue jitter 58%
saturation jitter 58%
brightness jitter 0%
purity 0%
Your brush will look like this in the preview section of the brush palette:

*NOTE: You may need to modify these settings depending on the size of your cupcakes.
5. Use the brush to add sprinkles over the frosting. Don't worry if some of the sprinkles stray off the cupcake, you can always erase them later.

6. And the cupcakes are done! You can add strawberries or cherries or whatever you like for a topping! (Strawberries from カワイイダケジャ. )

Sweet enough to eat!
