iPod tut
First Get your image. I’m using this one of Harry Potter. If the background is not white you'll need to make it white.
Set the image to Grayscale
Image>>>>Mode>>>>Grayscale
This makes the image black and white and will not allow you to use colors.
Now go to Color>>>Brightness/Contrast and put the contrast slider up at about 88-90

Now go to Colors>>>Threshold and set the values at 255 and 255

Now you want to make a new transparent layer.
Once you have it, make sure it’s selected in your layers dialog, and then get your paintbrush out and in black paint over most of the
areas that are black in your picture. It’s okay to leave a little bit of detailing white.

At this point you want to go to Image>>>>Flatten Image. This will leave you with only one layer.
Now you will go back to what you did at the first. Go to Image>>>Mode>>>RGB.
The final step is to Make a new layer of any color you want, and set it to multiply. This will make all the white in your picture your new color. You can also do this with a texture.
I chose used a swirly texture for my color. I actually opened the texture in a seperate canvas and then put my Harry on that and set the harry layer to multiply.

You can also easily add an iPod by using the rectangular select tool and a blank layer and filling the area you select with white and making the other shapes on an iPod the same way.
Yay!
