this is not going to work on all images, experiment, and adjust the steps to your liking, make this icon your own!
step one: duplicate your base, and set to multiply 100% (you will have to adjust this step, most likely, remember, make this icon your own!)
step two: new fill layer > fill with #e0a857 and set to overlay 46% (you might have to adjust this step as well.)
step three: another fill layer > fill with #2abcd2 and set to soft light 100%
step four: duplicate base layer, bring to top, and set to soft light 100%
step five: new adjustment layer > selective coloring, fill in these settings;
RED: -100, +45, -100, +4
YELLOW: -100, +28, +24, -28
GREEN: +100, +60, -51, +27
CYAN: +100, +96
NEUTRALS: +12, +12, -14, -8
step six: new adjustment layer > channel mixer, fill in these settings:
RED: +120, -16, -1
BLUE: -69, +91, +99
step seven: duplicate fill layer in step three, bring to top, and set to soft light 16%
step eight: duplicate base layer, bring to top and set to luminosity 100%
merge all and your done. (:
