Just a question

I'm using PS5, so I can do most tutorials for PS6 and PS7. But I was wondering, is there a way to easily ID colors by hexadecimal in PS5? I see it in a lot of tutorials, and sometimes I'd like to use the exact effect, but the color/gradient layer isn't shown, so I don't know quite how to get it.

Also, is "Color" the same thing as "Multiply"?
