slanted text & image mapping

whenever i try & make slanted text in psp8, it always looks blurry. i'll rotate a picture, apply the text, then reverse the rotation & the text looks all blurry. does anyone know how to not make that happen??

also, i know this isn't exactly an icon question, but i've asked this before awhiiiile ago in other communities & either i don't get an answer or the answers i do get are unclear. i was wondering, since all of you are SO smart with paint shop pro stuff, if you had any tips on how to make image maps. i tried to before, but it didn't work out too well.

anyway, i hope it isn't a huge problem that i asked that question. i'm asking it out of sheer desperation because i can't find an answer anywhere else & it seems no one is willing to help.
