Tutorial - Nicole Kidman

Ok, I've never done a tutorial before but I've decided to give it a try. So here goes...

Starting with this: Trying to recreate this:


1) Crop your base to 100x100 pixels.

2) Next, go to "Image" - "Adjustments" - "Curves"
Under "RGB" set to:
Input: 111
Output: 151

3) Go to "Image" - "Adjustments" - "Selective Color"

Reds:
Cyan -100

Yellows:
Cyan +100

Neutrals:
Cyan +100
Yellow -6
Black +3

4) "Image" - "Adjustments" - "Variations"

Click "more cyan" once.

5) Go back to "Image" - "Adjustments" - "Selective Color"

Reds:
Cyan -100

Yellows:
Cyan -100

Neutrals:
Cyan +20
Yellow +23
Black +16

6) Put this texture by xswaniconsx on the icon and set it to Darken, opacity 90%.

7) Then duplicate your base and drag it above the grey texture. Set it to Multiply, opacity 48%.

8) I added a brush by ewanism. You can download the whole pack at http://ewanism.deviantart.com/art/ewanism-random-text-brushes-57157850. This is what the brush looks like:

And all done! As in most tutorials, the coloring may be different depending on your base. If you plan on using this, please comment.
