Whee.. I'm just posting this for the hell of it.
This can made in PSP, Or Photoshop but I made it in PSP8
How to make this icon.


001: I started off with this image.Then sharpened it once, then duplicated the layer and set it to "Hard Light"
002: Then I used this gradient by crumblingwalls.
003: Then I made a new layer filled it with #002249 set it to "Exclusion"
004: Went back to the base and duplicated and brought that duplicate to the top layer. Then saturation -10 set to "Soft Light"
005: Made another layer filled it with #979797 then set the opacity to 30 then set it to "Soft Light"
(Step 2-7 are part of another tutorial by tresmoron)
006: Used another gradient set it to Overlay opacity 42
007: Used a ..whatamabob set it to Overly opacity 48
008: Then with a brush filled with this red.. by insomiac brushes(I think the lj is dorky_duck)
Then set that to Overlay.

Now you can be cool OMG!!1oneone.
and if anyone can give me teh maker of step 6,7 I be <3 you. :o
