Looking for Some Help and Advice...

I'm working on a header for a Seasonal Logo Contest over at the Polyvore Forums. The forums were made for Polyvore discussion, but are not affiliated with it.
I need some help with text...everything from placement to color.
All it needs to read is "Polyvore Forum" or "Welcome to the Polyvore Forum."
I just don't know what to do! I love how the header turned out [how about you?], but I can't find a suitable text to go with it.
Any suggestions/pointers/links?
[My username over @ the Polyvore Forum is papersky, if any of you have been over there. I didn't make the current banner, however I did make the banner used for the Christmas layout.]
