Going from this:
To this:
Made in GIMP
Translatable
- Crop your image { 100x100 }
- Duplicate; Set to Screen; Opacity 100%
Now flatten your image.
- Go to your Channel Mixer; set to these settings;
Red: 158, -25, -45
Green: 0, 100, 0
Blue: 0, 0, 108
- Fill a new layer with #101423; Set to Screen; Opacity
100% and duplicate twice. Switch the middle Screen layer
to Subtract [or Difference].
So it'd be:
Screen
Subtract
Screen
- Now make a new layer and fill it with #cbfbff; Set it to
Burn; Opacity 100%. Flatten the image.
- Go to your Color Balance; Use these settings;
Midtones: 33, 0, 20
Shadows: 15, 0, 0
Highlights: 0, 10, 11
- Make another layer [last one, haha] fill it with #101423;
set it to Subtract [or Difference] with Opacity 25%.
And you're done!
I'd love to see what you guys came up with. (:
