Tutorial #18 - Taylor Swift

From this to using Photoshop 7. No selective color!! and easily translatable. :]

1. Crop your picture and sharpen it.

2. Duplicate your base layer and set it to Screen, 40%. [optional]

3. Duplicate your base layer again, desaturate it (Ctrl + Shift + U in Photoshop), then Gaussian Blur it, using a radius around 2 pixels. Finally, set this layer to Soft Light, 100%.

4. Create a new layer and fill it with #0E0C3D. Set this layer to Exclusion, 100%.

5. Create another new layer and fill it with #C0E2FF. Set it to Color Burn, 100%.

6. Yet another new layer. Fill it with #8FB5D6 and set it to Soft Light, 100%.

7. Yep, another layer. Fill with #AAD68F and set to Soft Light, 100%.

8. My tutorials have a lot of fill layers. #C6BAA5, set to Multiply, 45%.

9. Use a nice light texture [like this one, made by organicdesigns] and paste it onto your icon in progress. Set it to Screen, 65%.

10. Duplicate your base one more time and drag it to the top of your layer palette. Set it to Soft Light, 100%.

11. Last fill layer, I promise. #C0E2FF, set to Soft Light, 60%.

12. Add a black border at set it to either Overlay or Soft Light, depending on your tastes, and you're done! [optional]
