would anyone happen tohave any idea what kind of colouring has been used on the following picture(s)-

basically that makes them so bright coloured and contrasted, especially like the kristen, hayden, johnny, smg and wentworth miller pics...

how can i get this fade effect in photoshop cs2.

i know it can be achieved with a regular brush, but then i'd have to hand-draw it and it wouldn't look that neat and stable. but is there another way?
