Tutorial - Torn Edge Effect

Here is a tutorial on how I created the torn edge effect without using a specific brush in these icons of mine.



And while this won't tell you how to exactly create the above icons it will (hopefully) show you how to create the edge effect in them. I'm using Paint Shop Pro 8 but this tutorial should work for any graphics program as it's pretty basic.
