- step one-
I did absolutely nothing to this cap, I was lucky that it turned out as bright as I wanted it. If your picture is darker, duplicate the base layer and then screen (and play around with the opacity, normally I use 80% or 70%).
-step two-
create a new fill layer and fill it with #250A00 and set to exclusion 100%
-step three-
duplicate the layer from step two.
-step four-
go to layer -> new adjustment layer -> brightness/contrast. make the brightness -4, contrast 44.
-step five-
create a new fill layer with #FFFB94 and set it to darken 100%

and your done!! this is my first ever tutorial, and I hope to make more soon, I just thought since so many people were asking about the gold coloured icons, I'd share how I make mine.
