Antique Tutorial
Going from:
to:
(nice, antinique/old effect)
in 6 simple steps.
Pick your photo and crop it to 100X100
Do not copy this tutorial exactly...all photos are different and you may have to play with the settings a bit to achieve the coloring you want.
1.) Duplicate your base, set it to screen at 30%.

2.) Add this texture by
candycrack to get the basic coloring.
. Set the texture to multiply at 70%.

3.) Add a new selective color layer:
Layer >> New Layer >> Selective Color
Red: -88, 0, 84, 0
Yellow: 0, 0, 5, 0
(You only need to bring out the reds and yellows to create the bronze look).

4.) Create a new curves layer: (this gives the image a more natural, realistic look)
Layer >> New Adjustment Layer >> Curves
First point:
Input: 135
Output: 111
Second point:
Input: 164
Output: 137

5.) Add another texture:
by
rainharbour
Set it at Multiply at 50%.

6.) This last step is optional.
Add a brightness/contrast layer
Layer >> New Layer >> Brightness/Contrast
Brightness: 17
Contrast: 26

And that's it!
I'd love to see what everyone else got!
Thanks for reading.
