Hey! This is my first tutorial...!
I'm going from this to this:
To get this coloring just follow these steps! I use Photoshop CS2. In this tutorial we will be using...Selective Coloring, Hue/Saturation, and a color layer.
1.) Open up your image, crop, re-size, whatever. If it's too dark duplicate it and screen it.
2.) Make a Hue/Saturation Layer.
On "Master" and under Saturation put in something around 50. Then on "Red" put in around 5.
3.) Open up a new selective color layer. Put in these settings:
Reds: -100, 15, 0, -10
Neutrals: 15, 24, 0, -21
4.) Make a new layer. Fill with 84a3e3, and then set it to Soft Light 50.
5.) Bring up another Selective Color layer. Put in these settings:
Reds: -30, 20, 44, 4
Magentas: -100, -52, 14, 0
Neutrals: -8, 0, 0, 0
And your done!
Other examples:
I'd just like to say, with this last icon, Ziyi, with the last Selective Color layer along in neutrals "Cyan -8" I also put in "Magenta -11" because it was so red. Remember to play around with the settings a bit.
