Uses: Curves
1. First, resize or crop your base layer to 100 x 100 pixels, because it is the actual size you need for the icon. It should be like this
2. When you are happy with your base layer, go: Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen Do not screen the layer
3. Create a new layer and paint-bucket it in #EFDEC3. Set the layer at Linear Burn 100% It should look like this
4. Duplicate your base layer, and set it at Pin Light 100%.
On the same layer, go: Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Curves On RGB channel, change the input and output settings to:
Input: 111 Output: 112
Click OK It should now look like this
5. Now, duplicate the same new adjustment layer, and set the duplicated layer to screen at 62%
6. Now, duplicate your base layer and bring the new duplicated layer to the top of your layer pile Set that layer to screen at 10%
7. Finally, create a new layer and paint-bucket it in #EFEBE6. Set the layer at Linear Burn 100% There it is! The icon should finally look like this
