My first icon tutorial! Using anime of course. :P

Adobe photoshop // Not Translatable.



Grab any image you'd like. Crop it to you see fit! After words, sharpen it:



There! Now go Layer > New adjustment layer > Selective coloring. Add the following:

Reds:
100, 100, 100, 100
Yellows:
-100, 100, 100, 0
Cyans:
100, 100, -100, 100
Blues:
100, 14, -10, 4

The make a new Selective coloring layer, and add the following:

Reds:
-100, 0, 100, 0
Yellows:
-100, 0, 100, 0
Greens:
-100, 100, 100, 100

After that, add yet another Selective coloring layer:

Reds:
-100, 100, 100, 0
Yellows:
40, -40, -100, 30
Magentas:
100, 100, 97, 100
Neutrals:
18, 0, -11, -8

Finally add another Selective coloring layer, but don't worry this is the last:

Reds:
-100, 54, 55, 0
Yellows:
-100, -42, 100, 0
Cyans:
100, 0, 100, 0
Neutrals:
100, -24, 72, 0

After that, set that layer to 30%. You should have this:



Now, on your key board press ctrl + alt + shift + e . Making a layer of everything. Next, desaturated it. Then set it to Multiply 40%.



Lastly create a new layer, fill with #787878 ,the set to Color 20%



Your done! Now add textures/brushes to make it look spiffy.
