This was requested by makeuptobreakup. Sorry it took so long.



Okay the first thing to do it choose an image. I would say medium quality is best because it has a grainy look. Here is the one I choose for this.


Now its time for you to desaturate it.

After you need to duplicate and set to softlight

Next choose a dark grey and set to exlusion.
➭

Now duplicate the softlight layer and drag to the top.
➭

Now for a really good effect make a new gradient layer. Set it to linear and place where you choose. Set to overlay.
➭

After make a colorbalence layer setting it so it has a purple blue effect. Lower the opacity.

Now make a brightness/contrast layer and lower the brightness
➭

Now make a levels layer up the white and black some.
➭
