oy.
I scanned the memories but couldn't find anything about Adobe Fireworks.
Having recently aquired Photoshop CS3 I was saddened to find that rather than having ImageReady which I am comfortable with, I'm stuck with Adobe Fireworks. I found a ridiculous way of animating icons (*points to current userpic*) that takes much longer than it ever did in IR but now i'm hoping to do a different kind of animation.
With ImageReady I could open up a .mov file select part of the video and turn it into an icon like this:
When I tried to do the same in Fireworks, the program wouldn't even acknowledge the existence of the video files, let alone open them.
Is there a way to capture videos to make graphics out of them or have I made a ginormous mistake by investing in PSCS3 with Fireworks?
