Okay this may sound really strange and confusing but I'm not sure how to explain this so here goes.
I would really, REALLY, love it if someone could tell me how to get this effect:(not the coloring, the texture)

Now before someone says I'm not supposed to post this here, this is were I need the help:
I have the textures, but everytime I paste them in it goes over the image. Meaning you see the whole thing & I've tried to get it to go behind, I've switched layers around but it always looks weird. So I'm wondering is it just a copy & paste thing or something else?
