We'll take this lovely picture from the doujinshi 'DEEP-LEVEL 02'
Auto Levels, Auto Contrast, Auto Colour
New Layer -> Multiply
Colour Matt's hair with #986028
Colour Matt's skin with #f8c0a0
Colour Edgeworth's hair with #787070
Colour Edgeworth's skin with #f0d0b8
Oops! Forgot Matt's hand (which is shown here:
) Let's quickly colour that in. =P
Colour Edgeworth suit with #a83858 (hey! magenta is manly! D< -shot-)
Colour Matt's jacket with #e80800
Oh dear, it's too dark! And everyone who knows Matt knows that his jacket is bright red. Let's fix that by going to the original image and using the dodge tool with Ranges set to Highlights, Size 5 normal brush, and Exposure set to 50%. Make sure to be careful so you don't accidently lighten somewhere else up that doesn't need to be lightened (i do that a lot...^^;;)
Colour Matt's eye with #256dbe (just because I like the idea of Matt having blue eyes)
Clean up the messy colouring, if any (like i have)
Merge then sharpen
New layer -> Overlay
Colour bubbles in with #f281ff
Aaand merge down again.
And this following part is not translatable, because of selective colouring.
New adjustment layer -> Selective colouring
Reds -> -100, 100, -30, -80
Whites -> -100, 100, -70, 0
Neutrals -> -100, 100, 30, -60
Blacks-> 50, 50, 0, -40
Erase the text if wanted.
And I added text for fun. :3
And you're finished!
