Lisa Cuddy Tutorial
Hey, it's me again *Waves* and I come bearing another tutorial. :)
Go from this lovely screen cap of Dr. Cuddy (by
bluebear_74) to
in 5-7 steps!
1.) Crop your base 100X100 and resize. I sharpened it at this point but you can go ahead and wait.
OPTIONAL: I smoothed out Cuddy's skin using the blur tool at 23% and sharpened her eyes and lips just a tad bit using the sharpen tool at 15%.
2.) Duplicate your base once (Ctrl+J). Set it to screen. This depends on your base so don't feel like your limited to one screen layer. :)
3.) Time for selective colouring (Layer/New adjustment layer/Selective colouring):
-Reds: +18 | +3 | +7 | +17
Yellow: -100 | 0 | -46 | 0
Cyan: +100 | -29 | -54 | +17
Neutral: +28 | -11 | -5 | +5
4.) Duplicate this and set it to Soft light 100%
5.) Now, it's move on to the colouring! :D
- 05072C > Exclusion > 100%
-C0F0F6 > Colour burn > 100%
-F09B9B > Soft light > 100%
-FFE4DA > Multiphy > 25%
Aaand... That's it folks! Just Merge all you layers and you're all set.
Now, if it comes out all washed out, you can always duplicate the base, drag it to the top and change the blend mode to soft light.
If you have questions, feel free to ask.
I'd love to see everyone's results! :)
