1] Prep the base like you usually would.

2] Duplicate the base and set to Soft Light anywhere between 50% to 75%. Depending on your base you may need to duplicate the base twice, set the duplicate closest to the base to soft light and the second one to screen (so it should be base, softlight, screen).

3] Create a new layer and flood fill with #494859. Set to Soft Light at 18%.

4] Create a Levels Layer. Set to the following:

RBG
input: 0, 0.60, 255
output: 12, 255

RED
input: 0, 0.67, 230
output: 0, 164

Green
input: 10, 0.60, 255
output: 7, 255

BLUE
input: 0, 0.83, 255
output: 31, 255

Set this layer to Soft Light.

5] Create a Channel Mixer Layer. Set to the following:

RED
Red: +108
Green: -16
Blue: +16

Contrast: 0

Green
Red: -2
Green: +100
Blue: +2

Contrast: +2

Blue
Red: -16
Green: +14
Blue: 100

Contrast: 0

Set the layer to 53%.

6] Create a new layer and flood fill with #040B29. Set to Exclusion at 83%.

7] Create a new layer and flood fill with #EAB16E. Set to Multiply at 15%.

8] Merge and you're done. Remember play around with the settings until you find what works best with your icon.
